Monterey, CA - "Missing on Maui", Book 3 in the Hannah and Niki Mysteries series, was featured at the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Young Women in Science Book Club event. Girls from the three counties surrounding Monterey, California sent an Aloha greeting to the Maui Ocean Center during the Missing on Maui Treasure Hunt presented by the authors of the featured book club selection: "Missing on Maui".

Forty-five members of the Monterey Bay Aquarium Young Women in Science program and the aquarium’s Student Oceanography Club read "Missing on Maui" and were invited to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to play a special Missing on Maui Treasure Hunt game where readers searched for the Maui facts woven into "Missing on Maui".

Each delighted girl was awarded a Missing on Maui CD containing an interactive web guide with tested links to Internet sites about each educational topic, a Maui Goody Bag, and a Maui Aloha Teddy Bear. Many girls said that they can’t wait to visit the Maui Ocean Center.

Maui, Hawaii - The Missing on Maui Treasure Hunt Trivia Game was played by enthusiastic visitors from all over the world at the Maui Ocean Center recently.

"Missing on Maui" is the third action adventure story in the Hannah and Niki Mysteries. The authors wove Maui's rich history, culture, and marine life into the fast-paced "Missing on Maui" mystery and developed a fun "Missing on Maui" Treasure Hunt Trivia Game that features ten Maui topics with multiple choice answers. Each player had the chance to win a "Missing on Maui" prize basket.

The authors greeted Maui Ocean Center visitors at the Living Reef exhibit. The players of all ages ran off to find the "Missing on Maui" Treasure Hunt Trivia Game stations, look for the answers in the Maui Ocean Center exhibits, and mark their answers on their "Missing on Maui" Treasure Hunt Trivia Game Answer Sheets.

The international visitors, students, and families who played the "Missing on Maui" Treasure Hunt Trivia Game gathered in the Ma'alaea Seascape Restaurant where the authors announced the correct answers to cheers and some sighs of disbelief.

Everyone put on their "Missing on Maui" sunglasses as the Missing on Maui Treasure Hunt Trivia Game Answer Sheets were placed in a basket and three lucky winners won a Missing on Maui Treasure Hunt Trivia Game Prize basket. All players selected a Maui mini-prize as they departed, while chatting about the Maui topics and how they enjoyed playing the game.
